Our club has been very privileged during the last Biennium to have our New Zealand Governor Phillippa Jacobs-Lory as a member of our club.
Governor Phillippa was “surprised” with a lovely intimate dinner with her/our D16 Board and 2023 Conference committee.
Past traditions had two separate events, a thank you to the Governor grand dinner and the Governor Change Over Dinner. In today’s challenging climate, Governor Phillippa asked us not to have two events.
It was a special intimate evening thanking her board with lovely stories of Phillippa’s 17 years in Zonta International. Governor Phillippa also invited members who were involved in organising the 2023 Christchurch Conference.
She said “Please don’t worry. You’ve NOT missed out,” the Changeover Dinner to Thank 2022-2024 Governor Phillippa Jacobs-Lory and Welcome incoming 2024-2026 Governor Jen McKinlay-Birkin will take place in Sept. details to come soon.
