Between 25 November and 10 December all Zonta clubs around the world initiate a event of activism for the Zonta Says NO to domestic violence to women and girls. Orange is Zonta’s colour for the campaign and many buildings around Christchurch where lit up to support the campaign.
In New Zealand there are over 175,000 calls outs per year to the police for domestic violence and its estimated that 87% of violence never gets reported.
